What are NFT giveaways?

Can you hold different blockchain NFTs in the same wallet?

This largely depends on the type of wallet, however, mostly yes. If your wallet supports several blockchains, then it’s possible. Such example is Trust Wallet which lets you hold both Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain NFTs.

Another example is MetaMask, however, it can only hold Ethereum and other ERC-20 tokens. However, Polygon blockchain supports NFTs, so you can hold both ETH, Polygon, and other supported ERC-20 token NFTs in MetaMask.

You can then use that wallet to sign in to an NFT marketplace and you’ll see all NFTs you own in one place.

Is the wallet address different for every blockchain that supports NFT?

Mostly, however, certain blockchains have the same wallet addresses. ERC-20 tokens such as Polygon and Avax have the same address as Ethereum if you are using MetaMask or a similar NFT wallet where you have multiple different networks.

How is that possible? Because they operate on the same main blockchain, Ethereum.

What that means is that it doesn’t matter if you are sharing your ETH or your Polygon address, it’s exactly the same. You’ll receive the funds normally in your wallet. Some wallets will require you to switch the “network” to see the funds in that token, while others have it all bundled up in a list.

That being said, this is only possible if the wallet of your choice supports several different tokens. There isn’t a way to manage your funds from a blockchain if it’s not supported within a wallet.

Yes, NFT airdrops are completely safe. There have been some rumors spread by Twitter and Reddit users about NFTs that can steal your funds. This turned out to be a hoax later on.

In most cases, if a person is “hacked”, that’s because he sent money through a fake website aka a “Phishing” website. Such websites will look like the real deal, but your money will end up in the scammer’s wallet instead.

Another way you could be hacked is if you share your backup phrase with someone. When you do such a thing, hackers can easily get into your wallet and steal all of your funds. Always remember, you should never input your recovery phrase anywhere unless you are recovering your wallet on another device.

• Always verify the domain and check all letters – Scammers tend to buy domains that are very similar to the original, but usually one letter will be different.
• Do not download any pirated software – Such software tends to be filled with viruses ready to steal your assets.
• Double-verify the collection – Scammers tend to create fake collections of known NFTs. Double-check the owner of collection to be absolutely certain it’s the real deal.
• Do not sign random transactions – Some fake websites will prompt a transaction from your wallet, do not sign any random transactions as you may lose your tokens.

NFTs and cryptocurrencies are fun and rewarding. However, there will always be some people trying to take advantage of others. You should be extra cautious when dealing with NFT tokens.
